February 22nd. In the end it was Ebba Andersson’s day. After a shaky Olympics that alternated between second places and falls, she bested the rest of the field in the five-mile race to win the gold medal by an overwhelming margin. Silver medalist Heidi Weng of Norway crossed the finish line two minutes and fifteen seconds after Andersson.
