The 21-year-old debutant Cimberly from Skellefteå was not tipped in advance by the betting providers or the Melodifestivalklubben, but it is now clear that she has made it to the final at the Strawberry Arena.

Cimberly won “Idol” in 2023, which launched her career. Now she is making her Melodifestivalen debut with the entry “Eternity,” which she described as “cocky disco-pop.”

She didn’t want to speculate about the chances in advance because, in her opinion, music is subjective.

-It’s special to compete in music competition because it’s so difficult to know what people like. “I can’t force anyone to like my music,” she previously told TT.

Smashed into pieces suffered from a gastrointestinal illness, stumbled under the gene rope and had problems with technique. But they had their loyal fans with them – it’s now clear that they won the most votes in Malmö and will go straight to the final.

Smash Into Pieces, now in its third year, was praised from the start. The rock group was clear that their goal was to win and represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest, and now they are one step closer to that goal.

“We want to win,” but we have to reject all mistakes, guitarist Per Bergquist previously told TT, reflecting on the challenges that arose throughout the week.

Meira Omar secured third placewhich means her entry “Dooset Daram” makes it to the finals. According to her, the song is a burning tribute to her husband, whom she met in “Love is blind”.

    – If you talk about something so natural in this declaration of love, I would like to attribute it to natural elements that, in my opinion, symbolize love.

Melodifestivalen’s fourth competition, taking place in Malmö, began with presenter Gina Dirawi being jokingly carried off stage after joking about cuts at SVT.
